About
infraguide.org collects notes, guides, and walkthroughs on running private cloud infrastructure, mostly OpenStack, Ceph, and Proxmox. Practical, specific, and honest about what actually breaks in production, written by people who run these systems themselves.
Infrastructure is often hard to get your hands on, that's why mostly developers prefer to start with a public cloud. But what if you have to stay private? The guides here follow one principle: keep the barrier to entry low without simplifying the systems. Simple to start, not simplified.
I started this as Vladislav Nazarenko (codecap), an infrastructure consultant working on private cloud and on-prem systems, out of recurring questions from clients and workshop participants. It's meant to grow beyond just me: if you work with this stuff and want to contribute a guide, get in touch.
